ETTRICK, Va. (April 21) – Anja Antonijevic of Shaw was named CIAA Women's Tennis Player of the Year and Sunday Enitan of Shaw was selected CIAA Women's Tennis Coach of the Year, the conference announced Friday before the start of the CIAA Championships.

Five Shaw players were placed on the All-CIAA team including Antonijevic, Jessa Michieli, Prerana Koirala, Chetna Kumari and Hafsa Sanhaji. Their combined conference record was 32-0 in singles and 21-1 in doubles as the Lady Bears captured the Southern Division title with a 10-0 mark under Enitan's direction.

Antonijevic finished the regular season 10-1 in singles including an 8-0 conference mark. Her doubles record was 9-4 overall and 7-1 in the CIAA.

The Lady Bears finished the regular season 11-4 with three losses coming against Division I teams. They are aiming for their fifth straight CIAA championship and 12^th overall under Enitan this weekend at the Virginia State Tennis Complex.
