Charlotte, NC – The Shaw University women's tennis team continued its strong play this season with a commanding 4-0 victory over Johnson C. Smith University on Saturday in a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) contest played in Charlotte, NC.

The Lady Bears wasted no time asserting their dominance, earning the doubles point with decisive wins on courts two and three with no contest. Shaw then carried that momentum into singles play, where three of the top four positions delivered straight-set wins to seal the match.

With the win, Shaw improves its conference record to 4-0.
