Raleigh, NC - The Shaw University softball team will take the short trip to Mt.Olive, NC to face the University of Mount Olive Trojans in a Sunday afternoon doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m followed by 4 p.m. at Casell Field in Mt.Olive.

The Lady Bears head into the series 0-7 overall looking for their first win of the season. Most recently Shaw had an impressive showing in their home opener Tuesday versus Alderon Broaddus before eventually dropping both contests after late-inning rallies from the visitors. 

UMO enters the contests 17-5 overall while also tallying two conference victories. In their most recent outing, the Trojans swept Francis Marion by scores of 1-0 and 15-0.
