Box Score Bristol, TN – The Shaw University women's soccer team put together a complete outing as they shut out the host King University Tornados 3-0 at Parks Field in Bristol, TN.
With the win, the Lady Bears improve to 2-4 on the season while the Tornados saw their record fall to 2-4.
How It Happened
- The Lady Bears struck early as Thalita Faria found the back of the net just three minutes in with her first goal of the season. Hannah Lucas was credited with the lone assist.
- Shaw added another goal before the half as Laura Tonkin converted a penalty kick in the 33rd minute.
- Griselda Jimenez added a late insurance tally in the 87th minute with the assist coming from Viola Alisch.

- The Lady Bears outshot king 30-0 on total shots holding the Tornados without a shot for the first time this season.
