Box Score Jefferson City, TN – The Shaw University men's soccer team returned to action after a senior day victory falling 2-0 in a road match to the Carso- Newman Eagles Wednesday afternoon in Jefferson City, TN.
With the loss, the Bears record drops to 3-5 overall on the season while the Eagles jump to 7-2.

- Carson-Newman ended all chances for a Bears comeback as Carsh picked up his second assist of the match this time finding Harry Whitehead in the box off a crossing attempt in the 80th minute padding the Eagles score at 2-0.
- Juan Ramirez played all 90 minutes in goal for the Bears and was credited with four saves on six shots on goal faced.
