RALEIGH, N.C. — Shaw University men's soccer has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring a 22-match slate that includes three early exhibition contests, multiple regional matchups and a return to the USCAA National Championships.
The Bears will open the schedule with three exhibition matches, beginning Friday, Aug. 14, against Wake Technical Community College at WRAL Soccer Park in Raleigh. Shaw will then travel to Guilford College on Tuesday, Aug. 18, before returning to WRAL Soccer Park to face Averett University on Friday, Aug. 21.
Shaw will officially begin regular-season action Saturday, Aug. 29, on the road against Virginia Peninsula before opening September with four straight road contests. The Bears will visit Mount Olive on Sept. 1, Louisburg on Sept. 3, Methodist on Sept. 6 and Pfeiffer on Sept. 11.
The Bears' first home match at Durham County Memorial Stadium is set for Wednesday, Sept. 9, against Ferrum College at 7 p.m. Shaw will return to Durham County Memorial Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 13, to host Johnson & Wales University at 2 p.m. on Senior Day.
Shaw will continue its September slate with Carolina University on Friday, Sept. 18, at WRAL Soccer Park before traveling across town to face William Peace University on Sunday, Sept. 20.
October opens with the Bears hosting Bob Jones University on Friday, Oct. 2, at WRAL Soccer Park, followed by a home matchup with Louisburg College on Wednesday, Oct. 7. Shaw will then play five straight road contests, beginning Saturday, Oct. 10, at Carolina University in Winston-Salem.
The road swing continues at North Carolina Wesleyan on Tuesday, Oct. 13, Virginia State on Saturday, Oct. 17, Greensboro College on Wednesday, Oct. 21, and Barton College on Saturday, Oct. 24.
Shaw will close the regular season with back-to-back home matches at Durham County Memorial Stadium, hosting Denmark Technical College on Sunday, Nov. 1, and Virginia State University on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
The Bears are scheduled to compete in the USCAA National Championships on Saturday, Nov. 14, with the location and time to be announced.
