RALEIGH, N.C. - The Shaw Univeristy softball team picked up its first win of the season with a 9-4 and 6-3 win against Bowie State University (0-4) in a non-conference doubleheader held on Saturday, Feb. 15 at Worthdale Park.

The Lady Bears who now stand 2-4 overall will return to action on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at N.C. Wesleyan University for a non-conference doubleheader slated for 2 p.m. in Rocky Mount, N.C.
