Box Score TIGERVILLE, S.C. - The Shaw University women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 setback to North Greenville University Wednesday night at the Pepsi Stadium.
Freshman Shianne Duplantis (West Palm Beach, FL) recorded 13 saves while freshman Katherine Inhoof (Virginia Gardens, FL) accounted one shot and one on goal.
The Crusaders game winner came from Karly Denaburg at the 58th mark in the second half as NGU posted 22 shots and 14 on goal.
The loss drops the Lady Bears to 2-8-0 overall while the Crusaders improve to 5-3-3 on the year.
Shaw will look ahead to another road match at Christendom on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 2 p.m.
