RALEIGH, N.C. – Shaw University announced today the radio broadcast
schedule for its men's and women's basketball games.

The broadcast season opens Monday, January 5 when WSHA will broadcast the
women's game against Virginia State University. The broadcast will begin at 5:15 pm
with the pregame show.  Tipoff is slated for 5:30pm.

The men will initially be featured on January 10 when they host Bowie
State University. The men's games will also be broadcast January 12 against Lincoln,
January 24 against Saint Augustine's, February 7 against Livingstone and
February 11 against Winston-Salem State.

The women will be featured in broadcasts on January 17 (Livingstone),
January 21 (Winston-Salem State), January 28 (Fayetteville State) and
February 18 (Fayetteville State).

The action will be called for the 10th season by Donal Ware and Michael
Rochelle.  All broadcasts will begin with a 15-minute pregame show.

WSHA-FM can be found at 88.9 on the FM dial and airs throughout the
Triangle and as far south as Fayetteville.  Broadcasts are also available
on the WSHA website at www.shawu.edu/WSHA.
