RALEIGH, NC - The Shaw men's and women's basketball teams open CIAA play tonight as they host Elizabeth City State at C.C. Spaulding Gymnasium on the Shaw campus.

The women's team comes into tonight's game having built a 6-4 record in non-conference play.  They take on a 3-6 Lady Vikings squad in the conference opener for both teams.

The men's team opens conference play with a 2-8 record and on a two-game losing streak.  The Vikings went 5-5 in their non-conference schedule.

Game time for the women's game is 6:00 p.m. with the men's game to follow at approximately 8:00 p.m.
