Winston-Salem, NC - Shaw softball dropped a non-conference doubleheader to Carolina University on Wednesday at Wilson Park in Winston-Salem.
In the opener, Shaw produced 13 hits but fell 15–9 as Carolina capitalized on four Shaw errors. Sierra Scott led the Lady Bears with three hits and two RBI, while Imari Jordan added three hits and three RBI in the loss.
Carolina completed the sweep in game two with a 9–1 victory in five innings. Shaw recorded seven hits, including a pair from Imari Jordan and a double by Jordan Booker, with Jordan driving in the Lady Bears' lone run.
Shaw returns to action this weekend as the Lady Bears continue non-conference play against Pace University. First pitch is slated for 1 PM.Â
