RALEIGH, NC - Shaw University senior wide receiver Ah'Shaan Belcher has been named CIAA Wide Receiver of the Week for his outstanding performance in Week 2 of the 2024 season.

Belcher, hailing from Jamestown, NC, secured this accolade after securing two touchdown receptions in Shaw's previous game against Catawba. His second touchdown in the fourth quarter helped etch Belcher's name in the record books as he became the Bears all-time leader in touchdown receptions.

He finished the game with four catches total bringing his season total so far after three games to 14 receptions with four of those being touchdowns.
