CHARLOTTE, NC - The No. 1 seed of the South, the Shaw University women's basketball team will sqaure off with the No. 1 seed of the North, Virginia Union University for the 2016 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) women's basketball championship.

Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. in Time Warner Cable Arena.

WSHA 88.9 FM will provide a live broadcast with commentary from Donal Ware and Michael Rochelle.
