RALEIGH, NC – Shaw University is proud to announce that three members of its women's tennis team have been named to the 2024-25 Preseason All-CIAA Team announced by the conference Thursday.
The members are Anja Antonijevic, Serena Teluwo and Prerana Koirala.
These exceptional athletes have demonstrated outstanding talent and dedication earning them this prestigious recognition. Antonijevic is the two time defending CIAA POTY wining the award in 2023 and 2024, Teluwo, is the defending CIAA ROTY and Koirala returns as the anchor to help the Lady Bears win their sixth straight title earning post season All-CIAA honors in 2024.
The team is predicted to finish first in the CIAA this season, building on their impressive six-consecutive title wins. With the leadership of these talented players and the support of their dedicated coach the legendary Sunday Enitan, the Shaw University women's tennis team is poised for another successful season.
The CIAA Women's Tennis Championship will take place on April 25-26 at the campus of Virginia State University in Ettrick, VA.
