Raleigh, NC - The Shaw University women's tennis team remained unbeaten in CIAA action Wednesday afternoon after defeating Johnson C. Smith University 4-0 at Worthdale Park. 

While doing so, the Lady Bears secured yet another division title ahead of next week's CIAA Championship. 

Shaw collected three wins sweeping all three doubles matches with the first (Dana Moreno, Michelle Blaha) and third teams (Chetna Kumari, Kundai Manyonga) winning 6-1 while the second pairing (Anja Antonijevic, Sevval Ozseker) collected a 6-4 victory. 

Moreno followed with a 6-2,6-4 win in singles followed by Blaha defeating her opponent 6-3,6-1. Kumari iced the victory with a 6-2, 6-0 win in the fourth singles slot. Shaloom Delgado's match was not finished due to the Lady Bears securing enough points for the victory but was ahead in her match 6-0,2-3.

The Lady Bears will return to action April 24 as they host Livingstone for senior day at Worthdale Park. Senior day activities will begin at 1 p.m.
