RALEIGH, N.C. – The Shaw University women's tennis team picked up a 7-0 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division contest Monday afternoon for senior day and the Lady Bears home finale at Lions Park.

Shaw swept all doubles, highlighted by a 6-0 win at No. 1 from a duo of senior Carmen Mantecon (Madrid, Spain) and junior Siria Dube (Tucumon, Argentina).

The Lady Bears swept all singles competition including 6-0, 6-0 victories from senior Teodora Jovanovic (Nis, Serbia) at No. 1 singles and junior Helena Fekete (Belgrade, Serbia) at the 5 spot.

Shaw will close out the regular season with a road trip to Charlotte, N.C. to face Johnson C. Smith on Tuesday (Apr. 23) at 2 p.m.
