RALEIGH, NC – With both the Shaw University men's and women's teams coming off victories against Virginia State Sunday, the Bears and Lady Bears will now travel to Charlotte, NC to face the Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith on Tuesday, Mar. 28 at 2 p.m.

The Bears (1-3, 1-0 CIAA) head to Charlotte after defeating VSU, 8-1 which marked Shaw's first win of the season, while JCSU (0-6, 0-1 CIAA) is still in search of its first win on the year. The Golden Bulls fell to Chowan, 9-0 in its last outing.

On the women's side, Shaw (10-2, 6-1 CIAA) defeated the Trojans, 9-0 Sunday to wrap up the women's tennis round-up. The Lady Bears will go head-to-head with a Golden Bulls (3-9, 3-2 CIAA) who recently swept Virginia Union, 9-0 Friday.

After Tuesday's matchup, the Lady Bears will head to Livingstone for a divisional contest on Saturday, Apr. 1 at 1 p.m. while the Bears next matchup is scheduled for Friday, Mar 31 at Chowan with a first serve slated for 3 p.m.
