SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. — The Shaw University women's volleyball team opens the 2026 season Friday with four matches over two days at the Ram Rumble hosted by Shepherd University.

The Lady Bears enter the season with high expectations after being picked to finish second in the CIAA Preseason Predicted Order of Finish. Shaw also returns Preseason All-CIAA selection Sydni Hunter as the Bears begin another run through the 2026 campaign.

Shaw opens tournament action Friday at 1 p.m. against Chestnut Hill before taking on host Shepherd at 5 p.m.

The Lady Bears return Saturday morning to face Goldey-Beacom at 11 a.m. before closing out the Ram Rumble against Frostburg State at 3 p.m.

All four matches will be streamed live on the Shepherd Rams channel of the PSAC Sports Digital Network.
