RALEIGH, N.C. – The Shaw University women's volleyball program is excited to announce its 2025 schedule, which features a dynamic slate of non-conference and CIAA matchups as the Lady Bears set their sights on a three-peat CIAA Championship run.

The season begins at home on Saturday, September 6, with the Lady Bears hosting Sweet Briar College inside C.C. Spaulding Gymnasium. Shaw will then head out for a three-match road swing against South Atlantic Conference foes: Lenoir-Rhyne University (Sept. 9), Catawba College (Sept. 12), and Barton College (Sept. 23).

CIAA play gets underway on Thursday, September 25 when the Lady Bears host Johnson C. Smith University, followed by a home match against rival Winston-Salem State University on Monday, September 29.

Shaw will participate in both CIAA Round-Ups scheduled for October 4–5 and October 18–19, with the exact locations and opponents to be determined.

The Lady Bears will also participate in a tri-match on Saturday, October 11 in Augusta, Ga., taking on Augusta University and USC Aiken in back-to-back contests. Shaw's final home stretch includes crucial conference matchups against Fayetteville State, Livingstone, and Claflin University before wrapping up regular season play on the road against Fayetteville State (Nov. 6) and Johnson C. Smith (Nov. 10).

Postseason action begins Friday, November 21 with the CIAA Volleyball Tournament slated for Bowie, MD on the campus of Bowie State University, as the Lady Bears look to defend their crown and continue their dominance in the league.
