RALEIGH, NC —  Shaw University's women's volleyball team is set to compete in the 2024 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Volleyball Tournament. The Lady Bears, led by Head Coach Jonathan Paulk, finished the regular season claiming the Southern Division title with an overall record of 27-4 and 14-1 in CIAA action. 

The tournament will take place from November 19 to November 24 with the quarterfinal match-ups being held at the higher seed before the semifinals and finals move to AC Jordan Arena in Bowie, MD. 

The Lady Bears will square off against the fourth seed out of the North Division Bowie State Tuesday evening inside Spaulding Gymnasium. First serve is slated for 6 PM.  During their one regular season match-up, Shaw defeated BSU 3-1 on October 6th at the CIAA Round-Up held in Winston-Salem, NC.

The winner of Shaw/BSU will face the winner of Bluefield State/WSSU in Bowie, MD on November 23 in the CIAA semifinals.
