RALEIGH, NC - The Shaw University's Bears will clash with the Fayetteville State Broncos in an exciting CIAA football showdown at Luther "Nick" Jeralds Stadium in Fayetteville, N.C. Saturday, October 26.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 PM.
The Bears, led by head coach
Adrian Jones, are aiming to build on their recent winning momentum. With a record of 4-4 overall 2-3 CIAA, Shaw University is positioned as a formidable opponent as they go head-to-head against Fayetteville State in which is known to be a very competitive series the last 10 years with most games being as close as seven points or less. The Broncos have been on the winning side of the series the last nine match ups.
Shaw's last win over FSU was on October 12, 2013 as the Bears put together a furious fourth quarter comeback to come away with the 44-34 win in Fayetteville.
