RALEIGH, NC - The Shaw volleyball team will play six matches this week, starting with its home opener against Livingstone on Monday, Sept. 11, at 6 p.m. inside historic C.C. Spaulding Gymnasium. It will also be the CIAA opener for the Lady Bears.

Two days later on Wednesday, Sept. 13, the Lady Bears will host crosstown rival Saint Augustine's at home beginning at 6 p.m. Shaw hits the road the very next day to visit Claflin in Orangeburg, S.C. on Thursday, Sept. 14. The match begins at 6 p.m. 

The Lady Bears will host Saint Augustine's again on Friday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m. The match begins the Shaw Tri-Match hosted by the Lady Bears over the weekend in Spaulding Gymnasium.

Friday, Sept. 15
2 p.m. - Shaw vs. Saint Augustine's
4 p.m. - Alaska Fairbanks vs. Saint Augustine's
6 p.m. - Shaw vs. Mount Olive

Saturday, Sept. 16
10 a.m. - Alaska Fairbanks vs. Mount Olive
12 p.m. - Mount Olive vs. Saint Augustine's
2 p.m. - Shaw vs. Alaska Fairbanks

The Lady Bears are coming off a very successful weekend at the Mount Olive Invitational, winning all four matches to improve to 6-2 overall. They are on a five-match win streak.

All Shaw home matches are free to the public.
