CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 11) - The Shaw University men's tennis team downed Johnson C. Smith 4-0 at the Coleman/Cuthbertson Tennis Courts on Saturday.

The victory was the first in four matches for the Bears. Johnson C. Smith fell to 0-2 overall.

Eduardo Valenca and Tom Letecheur won in singles to lead the Bears. Valenca also won in doubles. 

The Bears will host Chowan on Tuesday, March 28 at Worthdale Park. The match will begin at 2 p.m.
