RALEIGH, NC – Brooke Smith of Shaw University headlines the 2023-24 Preseason All-CIAA Bowling Team, which was announced Monday, Nov. 20, by the conference office. The team was voted on by the CIAA Bowling Coaches Association and the Sports Information Directors Association.

Smith, last year's CIAA Bowler and Rookie of the Year, is the top-ranked conference bowler entering the 2023-24 season. She is one of 10 bowlers on the preseason squad.

Last season, the Lady Bears, led by Smith, captured the CIAA Third-Place Trophy at the conference tournament last season. It was their highest league finish in recent years.
