AIKEN, SC - The Shaw men's soccer team rallied to beat USC Aiken 3-2 at the Pacer Pit on Saturday.
The victory was the second in two days for the Bears, who are 7-5-1 overall. The Pacers dropped to 1-7-1 overall.
The Bears trailed 1-0 at halftime but scored three second-half goals to take the victory.
Jaedyn Saunders started the rally with a goal assisted by
Boisey Armwood.
Lemar Catlyn added a goal then assisted
Hoslerson Joseph on his goal for a 3-1 lead.Â
The Pacers pulled within 3-2 but the Bears held on for the victory.
The Pacers outshot the Bears 12-10 but Shaw had five corner kicks to USC Aiken's three. Five yellow cards were assessed between both teams.
The Bears are scheduled to visit Bryant & Stratton-Rochester in Rochester, N.Y. on Wednesday, Oct. 18. The contest starts at 2 p.m.
