Shepherdstown, WV - The Shaw University Lady Bears volleyball team came away from day two of the Ram Rumble in Shepherdstown, WV with a big win and tough loss going 1-1 on the day.

Shaw swept Alderson Broaddus 3-0 in straight sets before falling to host Shepherd University 3-2 in a five-set thriller.

The Lady Bears return to the court on Tuesday, August 30 as Shaw faces Fairmont State.
