LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA --The Shaw University volleyball team cruised to a three-set sweep (25-22, 25-19, 25-20) over the Lincoln (PA) Lions Monday on the road at Manuel Rivero Hall.
The win boosted the Lady Bears record to 20-7 overall and 15-1 in CIAA action.
Noelani Beard finished with 16 kills on the day to lead the Bears offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .4. got eight digs from Beard to lead them defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | Impressive serving helped the Lady Bears take the first set 25-22. Shaw totaled five aces in the set victory. Â Shaw rallied from down seven at 13-6 to claim the win.
SET 2 | Shaw carried momentum from a set-one win by earning a 25-19 victory in set number two. The Bears rallied after being down as many as seven points at 14-7 to win the set. Shaw jumped in front at 17-16 and hung on for the victory.
SET 3 | Shaw then sealed the sweep with a victory in set number three. The Lady Bears scored first and never trailed in the set to secure a 25-20 victory. Shaw opened up as much as a nine point lead at 20-11 before closing out the set, collecting 15 kills while only committing two attack errors in the process.
