Tia Long returns for her 10^th year as Head Cheerleading Coach at Shaw University.

Long returned to Shaw in 2019 for her second stint as Head Cheerleading Coach. She previously coached cheerleaders at her alma mater from 2012 to 2016.

A Shaw alumna, Long is a member of the CIAA Coaches Cheer Association. A fun fact about Long is that she and other legendary cheer coaches are featured in the Stomp and Shake movie documentary, set to be shown in theaters in February of 2024.

Long is also the Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School. A Wilson, N.C., native, she graduated from Shaw with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications.
