RALEIGH, N.C. – Shaw University Department of Athletics proudly announces the 2025 Class of the Shaw University Athletics Hall of Fame, featuring six exceptional Bear legends whose achievements and impact have left a lasting legacy on the program. The induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2025, inside historic C.C. Spaulding Gymnasium. The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with doors opening for guests to mingle, followed by dinner and the official induction program at 7:00 p.m.

The 2025 Class includes:

Bethesda (Thornton) Kearney (Volleyball, 1989–93)
 
Latasha "Ship" Shipman-Ganus (Women's Basketball, 2000–04)

Ronald "Flip" Murray (Men's Basketball, 2000–02)
