RALEIGH, N.C. – The Shaw University men's soccer program has officially released its 2025 schedule, featuring a challenging 16-match slate as the Bears aim to build momentum toward a USCAA national tournament berth this fall.

Under the leadership of head coach Dr. Randy McClure, the Bears open their season on the road with a stretch of six consecutive away contests, beginning on Saturday, September 6, at Southern Wesleyan University in Central, S.C. The early road trip continues with visits to Ferrum College (Sept. 10), Pfeiffer University (Sept. 12), Carolina University (Sept. 14), Methodist University (Sept. 17), and Newberry College (Sept. 24).

Shaw kicks off its home campaign on Friday, September 26, when it hosts Louisburg College. The Bears will remain at home for back-to-back matches, welcoming Carolina Christian College (Sept. 29) and University of Mount Olive (Oct. 1) to Durham County Memorial Stadium.

The October slate features key home matchups against Virginia Peninsula (Oct. 10) and Virginia State University (Oct. 22), as well as tough road contests at Belmont Abbey (Oct. 18), Carolina Christian (Oct. 25), and Coker University (Oct. 29).

The Bears will wrap up regular season play with a rematch against Virginia State on the road in Petersburg, Va. on Tuesday, November 4, before setting their sights on the 2025 USCAA National Championships in Pittsburgh, Pa. on Friday, November 14.

"We are excited about our fall 2025 schedule," said McClure. " It may be one of the most demanding schedules we played in the past few years. We have a young, athletic roster combined with several veteran players that I know are excited to take on this challenge."
