Box Score BECKLEY, WV - The Shaw University women's soccer team used a strong first half attack to build a three goal lead and never looked back as they cruised to a 3-0 win over WVU Tech on the road Saturday afternoon.


Shaw used two goals from Johanna Lilja in the 17th and 31's minutes followed by it's third and final goal from Amelia Segdwick just before the half to go ahead 3-0. 


The Lady Bears held a slim 10-7 shot advantage over WVU Tech. Complete stats are not available at the time of this release and will be added once received. 


Shaw improves to 2-3 on the season and will return to the pitch Wednesday September 25 as they host Bluefield State University. Kickoff is slated for 5 PM inside Durham County Stadium.
