RALEIGH, N.C. – The Shaw University men's and women's tennis teams are both in action at home on Tuesday, March 28.

The Bears and Lady Bears will host former CIAA foe Chowan at the Worthdale Park tennis courts. Both matches will begin at 2 p.m., and admission is free to the public. The Worthdale Park address is 1001 Cooper Road.

The Shaw men will hit the court for the first time since a 4-0 victory over Johnson C. Smith on March 11. The Bears enter Tuesday's match with a 1-3 record while the Hawks are winless at 0-12 overall.

The Lady Bears last played two weekends ago when they dominated the competition at the CIAA Roundup. Shaw won all four conference matches, which were held in Charlotte, N.C.

Shaw currently leads the CIAA Southern Division at 6-0 and is 6-2 overall. The Lady Bears are the four-time defending CIAA champions.

The Chowan women's team is 5-9 overall. The Hawks are members of Conference Carolinas.
