CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 11) - The Shaw University women's tennis team defeated Johnson C. Smith 4-0 at the Coleman/Cuthbertson Tennis Courts on Saturday to remain unbeaten in the CIAA. The Lady Bears are 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the CIAA while the Golden Bulls are 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the conference. 

The trio of Prerana Koirala, Jessa Michielli and Chetna Kumari produced wins in singles and doubles for the Lady Bears. 

The Lady Bears play again Tuesday, March 14, at Elon University in a non-conference match. Shaw is the four-time defending CIAA champion.
