Leal claimed straight-sets victories at the No. 1 singles with a 7-6, 5-4 win while Makambwa was a 6-2, 6-4 victor at the No. 2 singles to put Shaw ahead 3-0 but the Falcons (4-7) took wins at the No. 3, 5 and 6 singles to tie the match at 3-3 before Ac pushed the Bears back in front, providing the winning points – 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 4 singles.
