RALEIGH, N.C.  – Shaw University men's tennis will have an opportunity to redeem themselves after suffering a 4-1 setback to Division I UC Riverside when the Bears host Johnson C. Smith University Wednesday (Mar. 27). The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at Lions Park (516 Dennis Avenue, Raleigh, N.C.  27610).

The Bears are 3-5 overall while JCSU is 1-8, the Golden Bulls are coming off a 5-4 win at Brevard on Mar. 24.

Shaw and Johnson C. Smith met last year on Apr. 6 with the Bears taking a 9-0 win over the Golden Bulls.

Following Wednesday's match, the Bears will hit the road to face Fairmont State on Apr. 2 at 1 p.m.
